It is always exciting as a photographer to get to shoot at new and unfamiliar locations. I was so excited last year to get to cover this intimate elopement for Jenay and Chris at the Botanical Gardens. Despite a rain filled morning they decided to go forward with the planned ceremony time and luckily the rain cleared

Jenay looked absolutely gorgeous in her beaded gown. The pavilion was a beautiful location looking out toward the lush gardens.

A short and sweet ceremony led to a quick set of detail and family group shots. We also included the photo of Jenay’s sister who had passed away. I am so thankful when couples are able to include their loved ones that are unable to be physically present.

A quick set of couple’s portraits showing the love and excitement between Jenay and Chris rounded out the celebration. The botanical gardens were absolutely beautiful. It has to be one of my favorite wedding and elopement venues in Corpus Christi!
