Kristin + Juan - Corpus Christi Engagement Session

Sometimes in life you click with a person before you even meet them. Everything aligns and you just know you are meant to be together.  That was the case for Kristin and me. You thought I was going to say Kristin and Juan didn't you! LOL …  from our first email she and I both knew that I was meant to be their photographer.

We planned outfits, coordinated dates, talked mosquito repellant, and worked through the man phenomenon that is the sunglasses tan line before we ever met. When their session date came around I was so excited to finally get to meet Kristin in person. She hopped out of the car and we greeted each other with a hug like old friends before we headed down a trail to our first photo location. We quickly realized we underestimated the mosquito problem here in south Texas and had to abandon the trail. THOSE THINGS ARE WILD.... AND EVERYWHERE! It was okay though because we found a little shady spot with some gorgeous greenery for a background before heading to the boardwalk area. I jumped right into getting them all snuggled up and cozy. 

What says "engaged" more than lovey dovey cuddles? Nothing. They rocked everything I asked them to do despite the swarms of mosquitos. They danced, they kissed, they strolled all while being attacked and you would NEVER KNOW IT! 

I just love the images we captured. I think they really portray their relationship. There is an obvious and easy love between them. The kind where you don't have to try too hard. Where you are each other's best friend and can laugh and be completely yourselves. I am so honored to have been able to do their engagement session and can't wait for their wedding next year!
