Andrea + Anthony Wedding Highlight | Ortiz Center | Corpus Christi, TX Wedding

Andrea and Anthony are 2 of the sweetest people I have ever met. I have been long anticipating their wedding day since I first met with them last September! This was my first wedding at the Ortiz Center in downtown Corpus Christi and it could not have been more perfect!

Drea was a stunning bride in her Essense of Australia gown - the detail on this dress was incredible and SO sparkly! Her girls looked radiant in their maroon Mori Lee bridesmaid dresses while the Andrew and his guys rocked their light grey suits from Men’s Warehouse.

Anthony was all smiles as Andrea came down the candle lined aisle to say their I Do’s under a spectacular floral arch. La De Da Events really knocked it out of the park on that as well as the bouquets and reception centerpieces! The maroon gold and ivory color combination was absolutely brilliant.

Once the formalities were done and they were officially announced as Mr. and Mrs. Martinez we headed right out to start family formals. The “fall back” time change is always a tough one since the sun starts to set so early. We had just enough time to knock out family photos, bridal party photos, and their couples photos before the sun was set and it was time for the reception.

I had so much fun capturing the guests dancing the night away and was able to steal the bride and groom away for a couple night time portraits. We of course had to get a shot under the iconic Harbor Bridge all lit up! I am so glad I got the opportunity to grab this shot before that bridge is gone and the new one replaces it.

After we got back inside Andrea and I were chatting when she said “We haven’t gotten a picture together, Kirby!!” I don’t always get asked to be IN a photo. I was SO honored that she asked! So of course we grabbed Anthony and got a shot of the 3 of us! It just drove home for me that I am exactly where I am supposed to be, doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I pour so much love into each and every couple and each and every wedding. To have that love reciprocated was everything! I am forever thankful for the kindest, most loving clients <3
