Alyson and Michael got married on January 8, 2022 with a full mass ceremony at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Alyson chose the PERFECT dress (complete with POCKETS!). The ceremony was full of special moments. They weren’t allowed to drop petals in the church so the flower girls instead handed out flowers to those sitting on the aisles, which I thought was a genius way to still have flower girls and the guests faces as they received flowers were beaming!

After the ceremony we stepped outside for their bridal party photos under the line of trees to the side of the church which was a perfect backdrop against the bridesmaids emerald green dresses! The ladies all looked spectacular and their love and support of Alyson was beautiful. With the groomsmen portraits we had some fun with a little “sneak attack” of Michael and finished off their portraits with a cheers and shots from their mini bottles!

We ventured back around the front where their guests were waiting to send them off with a bubble exit which is always fun! Guests then headed to the reception space and stayed for Alyson and Michaels couples portraits. Alyson had mentioned they would have a family member’s Model A Ford for their send off so off course we had to use it for photos! It brought this classic elegance to the ambiance of their portraits that fit with their wedding style so well! Hopping inside for some photos in the car was like stepping into a classic romance movie and the photos are some of my favorites ever!!

After portraits were done we were all off to The Omni for reception. Alyson and Michael were introduced as Mr. and Mrs Ortiz, entering the ballroom followed by a mariachi band. Mariachi Mexicanismo moved around the room entertaining guests as dinner was served. Then No Excuses Entertainment took over for the remainder of the evening. For their first dance the newlyweds showed off their skills learned during their ballroom dancing classes. Alysons dress was perfect for all the twirls and dips! Sweet Father Daughter and Mother Son Dances Followed. Next it was time to cut the cake! The stunning brides cake and grooms cake (a whole Nike tennis shoes box and shoes was so impressive!)

The rest of the night was all about celebrating with their favorite people! Dancing the night away and taking photo booth photos with Corpus Christi Photo Booth.

The Ortiz’s wedding was absolutely perfect and I am so thankful that Alyson and Michael chose me to be their photographer!
